Track and update associations between Notion pages and HubSpot records in CRM

Keep track of Notion page properties directly in associated HubSpot records

Posted by

One of the most powerful features of the Linkle integration is the ability to view and manage your Notion pages directly within HubSpot CRM records. This custom UI extension creates a seamless bridge between your CRM data and your Notion workspace, eliminating the need to constantly switch between applications.

Let's set up this game-changing feature that will transform how you work with connected data!

What does this feature do?

The Linkle integration cards appear directly on your HubSpot record pages (contacts, companies, deals, tickets, etc.) and provide:

β€’ Real-time preview of associated Notion pages πŸ“„

β€’ Direct access to Notion page properties and content πŸ”—

β€’ Status and property tracking of linked Notion database items πŸ“Š

β€’ Quick navigation to full Notion pages with one click πŸš€

Add integration cards to record pages

Go to any HubSpot record page (Contact, Company, Deal, etc.) where you want to display associated Notion pages. Click Customize record the top right corner of the middle section and select the view you want to customize.

Edit record customization in HubSpot

On the customization screen, there are two places where you can add Linkle card - right sidebar and middle column. Click Add card button in any of those sections and find Linkle card in Apps card types section to add the card to the desired location.

Pro tip: Place the Linkle card in the left sidebar for quick access, or in the main content area for a more prominent display of your Notion pages. By default, the card will be added to the very end of the section but you can drag the card to the desired location on the record page.

How the integration cards work

Information displayed in the cards

Once installed, the integration cards will automatically display any Notion pages that are associated with the current HubSpot record. This includes:

β€’ Pages created throughHubSpot workflows

β€’ Manually linked Notion pages via Linkle UI extension cards

Example of Linkle integration card showing associated Notion pages

Each card shows the page title, last modified date, and provides a direct link to open the full page in Notion. If the page is a part of the database, the card is also going to show page properties(e.g. status, due date, etc.)

Associating Notion pages with HubSpot records

The same HubSpot record can be associated with multiple Notion pages just like you can associate multiple HubSpot records with the same Notion page.

Important: The integration cards will only allow you to associate Notion pages that have been:

  • β€’ Shared with the Linkle integration
  • β€’ Part of a database shared with the Linkle integration
  • β€’ Created through the integration (e.g. through HubSpot workflows)

Removing associations between Notion pages and HubSpot records
